Ephesians: I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called,
It's an odd feeling closing one chapter and beginning a new one. My daughter arrived late the night before, and after driving in snow over a pass, the last thing I wanted to do was jump in the first thing to close up the shop. She's a real go-getter, that one, and we did it. She made bunches of trips back to the house with things to sort through later and loaded up the garage. I thought it would actually take a couple of days, and she wisely said, "Let's just get it done, and you won't have to think about it later. It won't be hanging over your head." Did I mention she was a wise one?
I have some things to go through and organize, but then it's my next chapter. I don't know what it holds, nor where it holds, but I'm excited to see what's next. I want to live like today's verse, "...lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called," so we'll find out.
Today, may we lead a life worthy of our calling.
