1 Peter: For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit,

Day by day, we get closer and closer to Easter Sunday, which is beyond belief in some ways and well, faith and belief in others.

I'm a geologist by training and one of the things I love about geology is its ability to make you feel like a spec of sand. Any troubles you may be facing are so insignificant in the whole, grand scheme of things.

We are surrounded by magnificence. This morning I took the dogs on their morning romp in the fields (hence the reason this is late), where they wowed me with their speed. The sunrise was phenomenal, pastels painted the eastern sky. Whenever I see such colors, I thank God for a job well done, and I think of Aunt Edana, an amazing woman who passed several years ago now, but embodied color. I thank her as well, because I often think she is there, saying to God, "Maybe a touch more yellow right over there."

Driving back into town, I glanced toward the Bridger Mountains and Bozeman and witnessed the moon. Further evidence that we are surrounded by magnificence.

As we approach Easter, may we notice God's magnificence in our own lives.

I've added a great song by Steve Gold as well.

Galatians: For if the inheritance comes from the law, it no longer comes from the promise; but God granted it to Abraham through the promise.

1 Peter: For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, in order to bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit,
