Colossians: And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.
Peace is one of the many gifts Christ gave us. Peace in our hearts. Peace between people, between nations. After his Resurrection, Christ greeted people with the word peace.
When was the last time you felt true peace? The peace that is present when everything around you may be in chaos, that is true peace. Sometimes it is seldom and very often, fleeting, but it is a deep peace, a knowing that everything will be for the best, no matter what.
Prayer and meditation help develop inner peace. Little by little and breath by breath, our sense of peace begins to develop within us until we become the embodiment of peace.
Peace and love are intertwined. Can you have peace without love? Can you have love without peace?
Today, I wish you much peace and much love.
